What is the Community Foundation of Brazoria County?

The Community Foundation of Brazoria County connects people who care with causes that matter.  We are a public charity, building an endowment that will take care of Brazoria County forever. 

One of the Foundation's specialties is working with donors to set up individual charitable giving or endowment funds, giving them freedom to meet their philanthropic goals.  Individuals, families, businesses, and other organizations can create permanent charitable funds that will help our community meet the challenges of changing times.

Another Foundation Speciality is working with other non-profits. We sponsor projects, helping new non-profits get on their feet, and coordinate citizens who are passionate about a cause.  At the same time, we serve as the go-between for donors and charities, especially charities that are not able to accept certain kinds of donations.  Many smaller charities cannot accept credit cards, or gifts of stock, land, or more complicated forms of donation.
